02Learn about the field
Walk among the plants and hear about cultivars, history, and how tea is grown here.
03Pick tea
Touch the tea plants and feel the softness and aroma of the leaves. How you pick them changes the taste of the tea.
04Make tea
Pan, roll, and roast the leaves you picked. Experience each step of making hojicha by hand.
05Taste tea
Finish with a tasting. Compare teas that change with picking, processing, and tree age — including black tea and white tea — and enjoy the depth with all your senses.
